Description: |
Two members of the group are invited to each give a short talk on a blues-related subject - their favourite blues song, artist, album, sub-genre, book or whatever takes their fancy. We will play some music related to the subject and then discuss, agree, disagree and politely argue about the merits of what we have just listened to. As we have a number of musicians in the group, we may even have some live performances. No previous blues experience is necessary - you are not required to go down to the crossroads at midnight and sell your soul to the devil, or to wake up in the morning looking around for your walking shoes... December 2025: the group is currently full. |
