Description: |
The Travel Group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays from September to April. Indoor meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month. The programme alternates between indoor meetings with a visiting speaker followed by a full day excursion to stimulating places of interest (often to venues that are difficult to access individually and which members may not have considered) a fortnight later. Members are expected to join in most of our planned activities. This popular and successful group also makes longer visits to interesting locations in the UK and abroad. There will be a visit to the Scottish Borders in September. In the Spring of 2026 a short break to Northern Ireland is being planned. We hope to visit France in September. |

| Cost: | £25.00 joining fee to cover the cost of indoor meetings - room hire, speakers' fees. There will be an additional charge for visits to include coach hire, entry fees, specialist guides and refreshments. |
