Name:

Birdwatching

For the latest Information on our group including photographs select here

Description:

The group welcomes anyone with an interest in birds and other wildlife whether experienced or beginners.

We will meet at least once a month for car trips between September and May.  A programme will be circulated to allow members to manage their diaries.

Some of the meetings will include walks so a basic level of fitness and energy are needed. You will need suitable protective clothing and footwear; a pair of binoculars and pocket ‘Birds’ guide book would be helpful, but not essential.

It is intended that these outings take place on the third Wednesday of the respective month but occasionally there may be some flexibility dependent on site opening and outing leader availability.

Organisers:

Angie and David Adam

Venue:

This will vary each month. Arrangements will be made to encourage car-sharing.

Some visits may need packed lunches and drinks; we may sometimes end with refreshments at the venue.

Times:

The day will be decided by the trip leader and will vary from trip to trip.

Cost:  There may be entry fees for some sites and informal arrangements re car-sharing costs.
